In 2007, I fell in love with cars, and in 2013, I discovered my passion for business research. These were the two decisive moments in my life. Thus, I define myself as a researcher and a car enthusiast, but I’m also an economist, financial and data analyst, and a hobby painter.
My main research areas include management, corporate finance, and the automotive industry. Given the nature of my work, a strong statistical knowledge and data visualization skills are essential; therefore, I continuously strive to enhance these.
My aim is to make a positive impact and contribute to the world, focusing on the automotive industry and mobility through research.
To sum up in a few words what I actually do:
In scientific research, it is both beautiful and challenging to contribute something new to existing knowledge. For this, you need a good idea, combined with persistent work. If you succeed, it’s a truly joyful moment! However, the results are often only accessible and understandable to the scientific audience.
One of my personal goals is to make the results of my research known to a wider audience and to put the experiences I have gained during the research in the service of the community. In order to contribute to this cause I’m involved in research affecting my community and explanatory journalism.
Research related to management and economics should not be disconnected from practical life. In this regard, I also have practical experience in the business world, having worked in the automotive industry for 4 years as a financial and data analyst. Real-world experiences enable me to identify topics that are relevant to everyday life.
My research is primarily connected to the automotive industry, Industry 4.0, sustainability, site selection, dynamic capabilities and deep roots of economic development.
Analysis of market trends, technological innovations and various events in the industry.
The role of external pressures, sustainability practices and the financial implications of sustainability.
The way Industry 4.0 technologies (or digitalization) change the role of human resources in the automotive industry.
The factors influencing the site selection of car manufacturers and dealerships.
The influence of dynamic capabilities, also called resource renewal on business performance.
The influence of past events influence today’s economic development.
I have published several articles and presented my research at numerous conferences. However, it is important for me to also share the results, so I have written newspaper articles and had a number of media interviews.
Research and analysis in the automotive industry: CARTH is my blog about the automotive industry, here you can find my researches and publications.
I have presented my researches in 8 different countries through numerous conferences and participated on workshops which provided excellent opportunities for knowledge development.
